I'm a big fan of the song 'Pursuit of Happiness' by Kid Cudi, so when it randomly came on my iTunes shuffle something just clicked. The thinking behind the piece is how you perceive something with rose tinted glasses, when really what is right in front of you is something quite different. I think I illustrated that.

The first photo manipulation I’d done in a while, I took a bit of time off from work and this was the first thing I completed after I started getting into it again. I like how it turned out and with a few tweaks it would make a good image for a Nightclub poster or something similar.

I created this piece whilst experimenting new techniques and it evolved into the image it is now. I created this using brushes I had created from scratch, giving it more of a mixed media look and feel to it. One of my favourite Photo Manips I’ve created.

Another Photo Manipulation I created a while ago using some custom brushes. This piece came out of nowhere when I was experimenting with different techniques and throwing ideas around. This piece is mainly for my benefit, I find it good to look back at work and look at my technical process in comparison to now.

I was asked to create a logo design for a new tattoo studio in my area. The client was very specific in what he wanted. A black, red and grey colour scheme, a typographic identity with a tattoo needle incorporated but with the option to remove the tattoo needle if necessary. This was my first design and the client was happy with it.
